NFL receiver Fitzgerald has hole-in-one in round of golf with former president Obama

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald experienced a moment to remember on Friday when he recorded a hole-in-one when playing alongside former United States president Barack Obama.

The 15-year NFL veteran is a regular on golf courses and with the Cardinals not in the playoffs, he was free to play a round with Obama.

Fitzgerald, who has been successful in pro-ams on the PGA Tour, played a round with the one-time president and two others at the Seminole Golf Club in Juno Beach, Florida.

The 11-time Pro Bowl player teed off after Obama hit the green at the par-three 13th. Fitzgerald, who also hit the green, quickly broke into celebration as the ball rolled directly into the hole for an ace.

"I'm playing with the president of the United States and I just made a hole-in-one," Fitzgerald shouted on the course. "This is unbelievable!"

Fitzgerald won last year's AT&T Celebrity Pro-Am, and has played alongside the likes of Tiger Woods. He will continue to play golf through the offseason while his future in Arizona remains up in the air.

He recently said he wanted to "take a step back" and "decompress" before making any decisions regarding his retirement.

Fitzgerald finished the season with 1,303 career receptions, breaking Jerry Rice's record of most receptions (1,281) with one team.
