Mashrafe’s parents infect with COVID-19


Former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s father Gulam Mortaza and mother Bolaka Mortaza have been infected with coronavirus after Mahsrafe, his wife Sumona Haque and younger brother Morsalin Mortaza.

Masharfe’s close friend Bablu confirmed the news of their infection to the country’s leading web portal Cricfrenzy.com over the phone.

Bablu said Mashrafe’s parents confirmed their infection by coronavirus on Thursday but Mashrafe’s son Sahel and daughter Humaira remain well and good.

“Uncle and auntie got their corona reports in hand on Thursday. Beside them, two other members have been diagnosed with corona positive. But Mashrafe’s daughter and son remain fine,” Bablu said.

“Mashrafe’s maternal aunty Kamrun Nahar Kuhu and his younger brother Morsalin Mortaza’s wife Sumaiya Tuha have also been infected with COVID-19. The infected four people are taking treatment at their Narail-based residence. Their physical conditions remained in good stead,” Bablu said further.

Mashrafe was infected with coronavirus on June 20. Finally he won in a fight when he tested 10 days after being infected.

Therefore, Mashrafe’s younger brother Morsalin and Masharfe’s wife Sumona Haque Sumi were infected. Mashrafe was freed from corona 24 days after being infected. Even Morsalin and Sumi also received negatives in tests. Currently, all remain quite well.
