We would be happy to have Virat Kohli- BPL franchise owner Nafisa

Comilla Warriors owner Nafisa Kamal said that she will gladly have Indian players in her team to play in the BPL, especially Virat Kohli.

In the recent past Indian players urged BCCI to give them clearance to take part in overseas leagues.

Comilla Warriors a franchise team of Bangladesh Premier League [BPL] countries' most lucrative franchise tournament. Comilla Warriors is one of the most successful team of BPL by winning the trophy two times in 2015 and 2019. The owner who is also a big fan of another big-money tournament Indian Premier League [IPL], eagerly wants Indian players in her team so that the team gets more experience and gets better.

In a Facebook live show with Cricfrenzy.com, the owner Nafisa Kamal said that IPL is the most successful franchise tournament around the world and if she had players from India to play for her team she would grab the opportunity and bring players like Virat Kohli no matter what she has to do.

"Of course we will want them, we have to admit that IPL is the highly valued franchise tournament and it is the most successful model. They carry a huge treasure of experience with them. So, it will be so good to have them and to share those experience with us for the betterment of us. We have a lot to gain from them. Their players have soo much experience playing T20 franchise," Nafisa Kamal said.

"If I want a particular player in my team, sometimes I even say this jokingly to my players that if I would have the scope then I will give the whole budget of you guys to Virat Kohli. Because apart from Bangladesh cricket I think my whole cricket interest and love for cricket starts and ends to Virat Kohli. Not him only as a cricketer but also the discipline, the knowledge and the weight he carries with him," she added.
