Alex Bregman is remaining with the Astros for the foreseeable future.
Houston and the 24-year-old infielder have agreed to a six-year, $100 million extension, according to a report from Houston station FOX26.
The deal covers Bregman’s three years of arbitration eligibility and the following two seasons, the report says.
