The Phillies announced Wednesday they have signed outfielder Andrew McCutchen to a three-year deal. There is also a club option for the fourth year.

According to Yahoo Sports, the deal is for three years. There are conflicting reports on what the deal is worth, but it is believed to be in the $45 million to $50 million range.

McCutchen, 32, is a five-time All-Star wo boasts a career .287 batting average with 223 home runs and 185 stolen bases. 

He played the first nine years of his career with the Pirates before he was traded to the Giants before the start of last season.

He was then dealt to the Yankees at the non-waiver trade deadline.

The Phillies have been active to start the winter meetings. They have been rumored to be looking into signing free-agent pitchers Dallas Keuchel and Zach Britton and are also reportedly meeting with Manny Machado and Bryce Harper. The team is also exploring trades according to another report from The Athletic.
