The Yankees have added a starter.

New York has agreed to a minor-league deal with Gio Gonzalez, according to multiple reports. The contract will pay him $3 million if he reaches MLB and has an April 20 opt out, according to USA Today.

Gonzalez was sent from the Nationals to the Brewers in August. He registered a 10-11 record and a 4.21 ERA in 32 total starts last season.

The two-time All-Star also has pitched for the A’s during his 11-year career.
