A hamstring injury will see Adam Thielen sidelined for the Minnesota Vikings' meeting with the Dallas Cowboys.

Vikings rule out Thielen for Cowboys clash

The Minnesota Vikings will be without wide receiver Adam Thielen for their clash against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Thielen suffered a hamstring injury during the Vikings' 26-23 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on November 3 and was ruled out of the meeting with the Cowboys.

The 29-year-old has scored seven touchdowns for the Vikings (6-3) this season.

"Wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring), cornerback Trae Waynes (ankle/not injury related), defensive tackle Linval Joseph (knee) and safety Andrew Sendejo (groin) all did not practice on Friday," the Vikings said.

"Joseph, Sendejo and Thielen‬‪ were ruled out for Sunday's game on Friday."

The Vikings are second in the NFC North, just behind the Green Bay Packers (7-2) heading into their clash against the Cowboys (5-3).
